Jean jackets have been on my radar for the past few months. I love the pulled together "city chic" look that you can create with them, plus they are a great layering piece for spring or chilly summer nights. I knew that I really wanted to purchase one to add to my closet, however I was not sure how often I would actually wear it. I thought I would give the look a try and order a super inexpensive one. Initially, I went to Old Navy to see if I could find one that I liked there, as they typically have pretty good dupes for J. Crew. Unfortunately, I did not love any of the styles or washes. So, I took a little trip down memory lane to seventh grade and checked out Forever 21. Surprisingly, I was able to find the perfect (and super cheap- $22.90) jean jacket there! I purchased the medium wash. It is very comfortable and has a worn-in feel. Today I went to a local train stop to take a few pictures. I love the look of the denim jacket paired with a simple black dress and nude flats. If I end of wearing this a lot, I might consider investing in a nice one from J. Crew or Madewell. What are your thoughts on jean jackets?

I love love love love LOVE wearing jean jackets! Old Navy has amazing ones that I love, but I'll have to check out Forever 21 as well! It's always weird for me to see train stations like the one where your photos were taken. Here where I live in SC, we don't have any train stations hahaha!
