This fall, finding the perfect pair of booties made it to the top of my to-do list. As much as I adore wearing my riding boots, the short trendier look of booties is so fun and a bit different. I was not too picky about the color (I am still looking for a cute black pair), but I knew I did not want a super high heel. When I was with my mom in Boston the other weekend, I decided to go into Forever 21 on a whim and stumbled across this pair. They gave me a little height, the buckle on the side was a nice touch, and for only $34 the quality is great! If you are on the hunt for a pair, I highly recommend these, and if the trend comes and goes they will not break the bank. 

This past weekend was very warm, so I opted for a lighter look. Black skinny jeans are great for the fall and winter. I found this pair at Old Navy and I love the stretchy material. To create a fall look without being too hot, I paired a flowy tee from Zara with a scarf. Adding a scarf to any look is a great way to add a pop of color, or pattern to your outfit.
