On our last day in New York, my mom and I went to the Plaza for tea. I have been to tea a few times before and love the cute little sandwiches and treats, but the elegant atmosphere at the Plaza was something very unique and of course such an iconic New York spot. Over my trip I found myself resorting to skirts as it was incredibly hot and humid. This navy one is great for so many different occasions and definitely one of my most worn pieces. The lines and cut are unlike anything else that I own and it is very flattering. I purchased this shirt at Zara on my trip. The embroidery trend is one thing that I have really been loving this summer as it adds a fun twist to a simple piece. Have you ever been to the Plaza for tea?
